Morning Box Score: Denver Hands Bulls Lopsided Loss

By Chuck Sudo in News on Mar 27, 2012 2:40PM

Tom Thibodeau didn't conceal his frustrations with the Bulls' defense after the Denver Nuggets handed them their most lopsided loss of the season at the United Center Monday night. Observant fans should have seen this loss coming after tight contests against Toronto last week. A 27-16 third quarter was the turning point, highlighted by Denver scoring the first 10 points of the period. Ty Lawson led Denver with 27 points and nine rebounds, while Arron Afflalo added 22 points. The Bulls were led by C.J. Watson's 17 points. John Lucas III, Carlos Boozer and Kyle Korver each scored 14 points.
