Brookfield Zoo Welcomes Black-Footed Cat

This precious little guy is a 6-week-old black-footed cat, born last month at the Brookfield Zoo. The kitten wasn't doing so well at first, but the zoo gave him round-the-clock care to get him healthy. This is the first baby black-footed cat for the zoo. Black-footed cats are the smallest of the African felines at about half the size of a domestic house cat. The species is classified as vulnerable.

In the video below, you can see the incubator used to keep him warm and the teeny-tiny little bottle used to feed him milk formula.
