Patti Blagojevich Angry With Chief Of Staff's Light Sentence

The wife of imprisoned former Gov. Rod Blagojevich is not happy that Rod's former chief of staff John Harris received a prison sentence of 10 days while Rod received a sentence of 14 years.

According to the Huffington Post, Patti wrote on her Facebook wall, "I can't help but wonder what planet we are on. 10 days vs. 5110 days, a sentence that is 51,100% higher than Rod. How do you explain that to your children?"

Harris struck a deal with prosecutors to testify against Rod in exchange for a lighter sentence, and he spent five days on the stand. Prosecutors said Harris's testimony was crucial to convict Rod of 17 of the 20 counts for which he was accused, sending Rod to prison for 14 years.

Harris pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bribery and could've faced five years in prison. He wasn't expected to receive any jaiiltime, but the judge said, "The offense is so serious and so crucial that I cannot impose upon you a sentence that does not involve custody."

Patti told Rosie O'Donnell in February that she still believes Rod is innocent and she stands by her man.
