The go-to romantic candlelight dinner is about to get an eco-friendly boost. In case the sustainable and environmentally-friendly seafood selection or the antibiotic and hormone-free meats weren't enough to put Prasino on the do-gooders list (in addition to the delicious list), on Saturday they will celebrate Earth Hour.

From 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., all non-essential lights will be turned off, joining the worldwide movement to raise awareness about climate change and encourage creating a more sustainable way of living.

Dinner will be served in the glow of candlelight. The taste of dishes such lobster-stuffed avocado, whole wheat flatbread and roasted beet salad will be enhanced when the sense of sight is diminished. But eat it quickly, because the celebration only lasts an hour.

If you can’t make it out to Prasino, several other restaurants are flipping the switch and serving dinner in the dark.

Markethouse will serve a five-course dinner for $45, with organic cocktails for $10 and live acoustic music.

Bin Wine Cafe, Chen’s Chinese and Sushi, Cityscape Bar, The Palmer House Hilton as well as Volo Restaurant and Wine Bar will also be participating in Earth Hour.
