Chicagoist NCAA Tournament Challenge: We Have A Winner!

bracket_trophy.jpg By the time "One Shining Moment" played last night, the Kentucky Wildcats had cut down the nets and accepted their championship trophy. Having dominating the Kansas Jayhawks for much of the game, Kentucky proved why they entered the tournament as the number one overall seed and claimed the title with a 67-59 victory.

And now it's time to crown the champion of the Chicagoist Tournament Challenge! Finishing first out of 139 entries is DJSTEVEOH's DJSTEVEOH 1 entry. DJSTEVEOH finished with 1520 points, which was also good enough to place above 99.3 percent of all ESPN's entries. Right behind DJSTEVEOH was mkschmidt10's mkschmidt10 1 entry, with 1510 points.

We finally have a respectable showing ourselves, with our Chicagoist Benjy bracket finishing fifth with 1430 points. We led for most of the tournament, but Ohio St.'s collapse against Kansas in Saturday's semifinal killed our dreams of winning this thing.

As for the winner, please contact me at blipsman at gmail dot com to coordinate your prize. Let's all congratulate DJSTEVEOH on his victory!
