Extra Extra: The Trial Of William Balfour Begins
- Jury selection began today for the trial of William Balfour, who is charged with killing three members of Jennifer Hudson's family. Apparently potential jurors "gasped" when told what the case was. When the judge asked if anyone would be unable to decide the case without “sympathy, bias or prejudice,” about 20 people stood up. The identities of the jurors will remain secret until after the trial. [Tribune]
