Pencil This In: "Sinner or Saint: Temptingly Rare Beers on Tap!" At The Bavarian Lodge

By Chuck Sudo in Food on Apr 5, 2012 4:40PM

2012_4_5_PTI.jpg What better to tempt you on Good Friday than the tapping of three "Temptingly Rare" drafts at the Bavarian Lodge in Lisle tomorrow. Here's what they'll be pouring when the bar opens at 4 p.m.

- Founders KBS (Imperial Stout Aged in Kentucky Bourbon Barrels)
- Lost Abbey Angel's Share Vintage '10 (Bourbon Barrel-Aged)
- Firestone Walker XV (Rare Oak-Aged Blended Strong Ale)

No RSVP is required and these beers are available on a first come, first served basis. If you haven't been to the Bavarian Lodge, do yourself a favor and get out there. It's one of the best beer bars in the Chicago area and on our short list of favorite suburban beer bars.

If you have an event for inclusion in "Pencil This In," please contact Tankboy (for A&E-related listings), Anthony (for tastings, dinners and food and drink-related events) or tips[at]chicagoist[dot]com.
