A White Sox Opening Day Diversion

By Samantha Abernethy in Arts & Entertainment on Apr 6, 2012 5:40PM

We stumbled on this 2010 song by Chicago rapper Young General yesterday when we made our baseball season playlist. It's called "White Sox Fitted Cap" and features shout-outs to Cook County and Harold Washington. The music video is equally Chicago-centric. We'd like to suggest one of the White Sox players drop their tired "jock jam" walk-up song and replace it with this. Headphones suggested if your employer doesn't like to hear, "Even Barack got his motherfucking White Sox fitted cap, turned to the back."
