Dose Market Returns For April

By Anthony Todd in Food on Apr 9, 2012 4:00PM

2012_2_8HBFC.jpg We've become huge fans of Dose Market, the monthly food and fashion marketplace that showcases some of the best products in Chicago and the surrounding region. Our favorite part? Much of the stuff there can't be gotten anywhere else. In fact, Dose has begun to enter the city's culinary lexicon. Whenever a chef has a great idea or new product, the first thing we hear: Are you going to sell that at Dose?

This Sunday, we're most excited about the return of Honey Butter Fried Chicken (and not just because we won't have to leave Dose smelling like a fryer). If you didn't get any last time, read all about it and then head in for some tasty chicken.

HBFC isn't the only star of the show. Nellcote will be pouring free cocktails, Metropolis pouring coffee and Peeled pouring juices! So much to drink. Grab a mortadella sandwich from Crumb and Co-Op sauce before they sell out (as they inevitably will) and then stop at Mana Food Bar's stand for some veggie delights.

The complete list of vendors for April is available online. Dose opens Sunday at 10:00 at the River East Art Center.
