Today's Weather: Fluctuating

We have rain in the cards for today, folks. Beginning this afternoon, we're due for a thunderstorm or two that will lead to steadier rain this evening and overnight. But the real story of today's forecast is a 30 degree shift in the temperature going north to south. Northeast winds are supposed to keep the northern suburbs cool, while winds from the southeast will maintain temps in the mid-to-upper 60s. The official temperature at O'Hare Airport is expected to be in the mid-60s.
