One Great Dish: Bánh Mì & Co.'s Wonton Soup

We love a good sandwich. We love a good sandwich more when it's paired with a good soup. When the two are both exemplary, it's the perfect reset for whatever is bothering us.

Such is the case with the wonton soup half of the soup and sandwich special at Bánh Mì & Co. Not all the good Vietnamese food is on Argyle, and this Lakeview sandwich shop keeps it simple, from the menu with line drawings of animals and vegetables identifying your protein and ingredient options to their wonton soup. The wontons in the soup here conceal some wonderfully savory pork meatballs, but it's the broth that stands out here: clear in flavor, it allows the flavor of fresh cilantro in the soup to come to the fore.
