Aurora Borealis Lights Up The Midwestern Sky

The solar eruptions continue to fuel incredible Northern Lights, and storm chasers caught video of gold and purple aurora borealis near Fergus Falls, Minn. just after 1 a.m. this morning. Over in Indiana, the folks at Indiana Dunes State Park snagged these stellar photos of green and red lights. The same eruption of solar flares brought the lights to our skies last fall for the first time in almost seven years. We couldn't see them from the city, but the folks in the international space station could.
