Sometimes cops don't need a drug-sniffing dog to find a dope operation. All it takes is looking with one's own eyes. Such was the case in Des Plaines late Monday when police happened upon a naked and bloody man who led them to a suspected meth and ecstasy lab.

35-year-old Andrew Frame was found by police near Campbell Avenue and Center Street in Des Plaines. He was naked, covered in a liquid authorities believed to be blood and possibly under the influence of drugs, and authorities determined he needed medical attention. Before that, Frame told police he was forced to fight with someone and that a person had been murdered in his house.

Officers entered Frame's house on the 1400 block of Campbell Street by force and found no body. They did, however, find a ton of drug paraphernalia, including the suspected lab in the basement. The Illinois State Police Meth Response Team were called in to investigate the crime scene and the house was secured because it's a potential safety hazard.

Frame is under police custody being treated for his wounds.
