Alinea Drops A Step On S. Pellegrino's Top 50 Restaurants List

The S. Pellegrino list of the 50 best restaurants in the world were announced this afternoon and Alinea went down a peg to seventh on the list.
Grant Achatz also lost his year-long recognition as having the best restaurant in North America, as his mentor Thomas Keller's Per Se moved ahead of Alinea on the list to sixth. Keller also received S. Pellegrino's Lifetime Achievement Award.
