We've featured the photography of David Tribby before, most recently when he hied down to Gary, Ind. to take photos inside the dilapidated Gary City Methodist Church after last year's blizzard. I wrote of Tribby's photos then:

"(T)here's something peaceful about (the photos), as though the church is in nothing more than a suspended state, waiting for renewal. then again, we also think the shots could serve as a setting for a Hammer Films-era Dracula movie."

The response Tribby received from the photos led him to create a limited edition 20" x 24" run of the photo featured above, printed on Kodak Professional Supra Endura VC Digital Paper with lustre coating, and signed, numbered, dated on back. It's the first time Tribby has offered a run of this photo and will be the only time this photograph will be offered in this size.

As of post time, only 17 prints remain. If you're interested in purchasing one, you should email Tribby. Tribby is also giving away print #1 to someone, if the Tumblr post where he made the announcement of the run reaches 1,000 notes before May 31. In order to qualify, you must:

  • Be following Tribby on Tumblr (davidtribby.com)
  • Have reblogged his post
  • Be a person (not a company / record label / magazine etc.)
  • Have an avatar with posts on their blog
