The White Sox gave Detroit a taste of their own medicine Saturday as Adam Dunn rang off a two run homer in the ninth to beat the Tigers. Detroit had the advantage off of two RBI singles in the second for a 2-0 lead, giving their starter Max Scherzer a hope for a shut out. Paul Konerko had other plans with a solo shot in the seventh to put the Sox on the board. Alejandro De Aza had the lead off hit in the ninth and stole third to put himself in scoring position for Dunn, who then helped De Aza come home with his eighth home run of the season and a Sox win.

Dodgers 5, Cubs 1

While Dodgers pitcher Chris Capuano threw for seven scoreless innings, Chris Volstad was rocked by the Dodgers. Volstad is 0-4 on starts this season and still hasn't won a game since July 10, 2011 falling to 0-9 on his last 17 starts. Starlin Castro had 3 hits on 4 at bats and scored late in the game off an Ian Stuart RBI single, but also posted his eighth error on the season, the most in the MLB. The Cubs entered Saturday having at least 10 hits in the last three games, but Capuano limited them to three over seven scoreless innings.
