Wisconsin Kids Prom Photo Shoot Truly Memorable

A group of Wisconsin teens heading to their prom took some memorable photos, just not the ones they were expecting.

The teens from Kettle Moraine High School stopped at a wooden pier to pose for photos before heading to their prom, when the dock collapsed under their collective weight and sent most of the teens dropping into the lake. Matt Timm, a junior at Kettle Moraine, told WISN-TV, "It's completely unexpected. It doesn't even happen on TV, and all of a sudden here it is happening to us."

Timm said he heard a crack and then "the whole thing collapsed from under us." Another student, junior Sydney Rogers, told WISN "I don't know why I look so freaked out in the picture."

In Rogers's defense, falling through a dock into a lake isn't an everyday occurrence The group managed to dry out enough to regroup and head to prom, where they took the traditionally posed "hold on to the memories" photos.
