Final Do-Division Fest Lineup Announced

2012_05_18_DoDivision.jpg Do-Division Fest today announced its final programming for this year's edition, June 1-3 on Division Street between Ashland and Levitt Avenues.

The music programming was finalized weeks ago and will make for a killer start to summer street fair season. Today's announcement detailed what will happen at the family fun Fest and the street fair portion of the festival. The Shedd Aquarium will bring several of their popular games such as the Penguin Plunge and the Polar Playzone as well as an opportunity to see some of their animals up close and personal throughout the weekend. The Great Lakes Initiative, focused on conservation and education about our most precious water source, will also participate.

Many of the popular activities including The Easel Art Studio Craft Tent, punk rock hair styling by Psycho Baby, face painting, the Children's Learning Place Toddler Zone, a bounce house, dunk tank and pony rides. And you can win prizes from Building Blocks' famous Carnival Wheel.

Proceeds from Do Division Family Fun Fest go to Friends of Pritzker School and LaSalle II PTO, two public elementary schools in Wicker Park.

There will also be a food truck summit on the Polish Triangle (aka "Hobo Corner") at Division, Ashland and Milwaukee June 2 and 3.
