Not All Of The Violence Was At The NATO Summit

The Tribune reported Nazia Banks was shot in the head by two individuals who emerged from a gangway while he was playing with friends on the South Side. 14-year old Alejandro Jaime of Southwest side Brighton Park was killed Friday while riding his bike with a friend.

Alejandro Munoz, 26, and Estaban Alvaraz, 27, were shot to death in Pilsen early Monday in what the Sun-Times reported was a gang-related incident.

Melvin Jacobs, 23, one of five people shot in an incident on the Far South side Saturday, died of his wounds. the other two fatalities were Joseph Owens, 25, and Dwayne Billingsley, 35.

At least 22 were injured by gun violence in Chicago this weekend.
