We've seen some stunning images come out of the weekend's NATO summit protests. Here are some more. Local filmmaker Mike Eisenberg wanted to capture the tensions on the streets as an unbiased observer. The result is the video below.
Eisenberg told Chicagoist he made this video with a DSLR camera and a variety of lessons during marathon filming sessions all weekend. "I filmed 6 hours on Friday, 8 hours on Saturday, 12 hours on Sunday, (with a 16-inch softball doubleheader in between.)" Eisenberg edited the video each night as he went along.
"I'm really not on either side of this battle, but I wanted to capture the imagery of the event," Eisenberg said. He added that he wasn't around when anyone was seriously injured, but "I can say that it felt a lot more dangerous than it seems even in this video."
