Do This: The Southern's Memorial Day Pig Roast

Looking to satisfy your roasted swine fix but you don't want to break out the grill? Then buy your tickets to The Southern's Memorial Day pig roast while they're still available.

Chef Cary Taylor and his staff will roast a heritage breed Swabian pig from Rustic Rooster farms in Waterloo, Iowa. This breed has a big fat cap that will have swine enthusiasts swooning, if not pulling blades on each other to get more than their fair share. Templeton Rye will also be around with $6 cocktails.

The festivities at The Southern kick off at 2 p.m.; the pig is expected to be served around 3 p.m.
