The Taste of Chicago announced the schedule for one-day pop-up restaurants during this summer's festival:

July 11: Beat Kitchen, Jin Ju, and Marie’s Pizza

July 12: Inspiration Kitchen, Riva, and Tre Kronor

July 13: Café Trinidad, Garifuna Flava Caribbean Restaurant, and LM Restaurant

July 14: Arun’s, Austrian Bakery, and The Nile Restaurant

July 15: Caffe Gelato, Karyn’s on Green, and West Town Tavern

All the restaurants are new to the festival, and they'll be selling food for just one day of the Taste. The pop-up program is one of the changes to the festival that the city is hoping will help cut festival costs. This year, the Taste of Chicago has scaled back to five days, concerts now come with a price tag, and there will be fewer vendors.
