Woman Charged With Stealing Ambulance

This isn't a Memorial Day hijinks, but it's is a case of questionable judgment. A woman has been charged with stealing a Chicago Fire Department ambulance late Sunday.
30-year-old Cassie Weathersby of the 1600 block of North Mango on the West side was charged with stealing the ambulance, driving on a suspended license, and driving under the influence of alcohol. Weathersby allegedly stole the ambulance from the 300 block of West 64th Street around 10:50 p.m. last night.
Weathersby didn't get far; she crashed the meat wagon into another vehicle at the 6700 block of South Indiana Avenue. The woman in the second vehicle wasn't injured.
