The Vault at The Bedford.

Are you a supporter of Green City Market? Have you always wanted to see inside the vault at The Bedford? Or are you just someone who likes cheap, quality drinks? Pretty much everyone in Chicago fits into one of those three categories, so we'll be seeing everyone at the Bedford tonight for the second Meet the Market event of this season.

Presented by the Green City Market Junior Board, Meet the Market is a cocktail hour for people who care about eating fresh, local food. The featured farmer for the evening will be Peter Klein of Seedling, and FEW spirits will be sponsoring the cocktails. Drinks are $8, of which $6 goes straight back to Green City Market.

Chef Mark Steuer (who is on the Junior Board) will be providing free passed appetizers. The event runs from 6-8 p.m. and no reservations are required - just show up, buy drinks and mingle. Look out for events at Farmhouse, Nellcote and Ada Street later in the summer.

The Bedford is located at 1612 W. Division St.
