Neo-Psych Soul Duo THEESatisfaction Coming To Schubas In August

"Anticipation never bites from the apple of yes" goes one of the more memorable lines from neo-psych soul-cum-hip-hop Seattle-based duo THEESatisfaction's official full-length debut awE naturalE, released in March via Sub Pop. Those music fans eager to check out the duo, who gained prominence after appearing on last year's superlative-defying hip-hop masterpiece Shabazz Palaces album Black Up and through a series of mixtapes over the years, can take a huge Homer Simpson-sized nom come August.

That's because THEESatisfaction will be playing Schubas on August 25th. Tickets for the 21+ show went on sale at noon today. We suggest you pick up tickets to this show post-haste, as awE naturalE is simply one of the year's best albums. It's a record that bust genres in leaps-and-bounds, but one that remains effortlessly cool, soulful, hypnotic, and accessible throughout its 30-minute running time.
