Despite some inaccurate reporting to the contrary, Sunday Dinner Club's popular burger stand did not open with the rest of Green City Market this year due to some logistical issues. If you've been craving one of SDC's amazing burgers, you can finally get your fix starting this Saturday.

The chefs behind Sunday Dinner Club, Josh Kulp and Christine Cikowski, are also the chefs currently working on the new Honey Butter Fried Chicken. Since the chefs were wary about overextending themselves, they weren't sure if they'd be participating in the market at all this year. We're sure that our tearful begging had nothing to do with their final decision.

SDC has been serving burgers at the market for five years. All of the ingredients for the burger are fresh and local and include fresh-ground Heartland beef, Brunkow horseradish cheddar cheese, Green Acres green garlic mayo and whatever else happens to be in season. A burger is $10. Bad news for fans of SDC's egg sandwiches - they aren't available this year.

If you've been desperate to get into a Sunday Dinner Club event, their sign-up sheet is available at the burger stand.
