Surf YouTube for a few seconds and one can't help but trip on some autotuned video, like mushrooms that sprout after a heavy rain. But this one is one of the cooler ones we've seen in a while.

PBS Digital Studios enlisted the talents of Symphony of Science's John Boswell to add some modern flourishes to their trademark properties and Boswell, who previously worked on autotuned videos featuring the theories of Carl Sagan, Bill Nye, Stephen Hawking, Richard Feynman, gave the late Fred Rogers the autotune treatment.

It turns out that Boswell (a.k.a. melodysheep) was a huge fan of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood and Rogers—beneath his easily imitated appearance and cadence—was nothing if not a philosopher. (That subversive PBS strikes again.)

Peep, peeps.
