We can't quite believe we just wrote the word "staycation" - but it's the best way to describe how we'd use this great package from the Hotel Lincoln. The hotel, located on Clark Street right across from Lincoln Park, finally opened this year after a long, sad, empty spell. The same building houses Perennial Virant and Elaine's Coffee Call. If you are one of those food lovers who has a hard time waking up early enough to treck down to Green City Market (or you live in the suburbs and hate the drive) this is the deal for you.

Starting at just $194, the "Farm to Room" package includes a night in a beautiful, brand-new room at the Hotel Lincoln. You'll get a special Hotel Lincoln tote bag to use at the Green City Market, and after you wander around buying produce (which we're sure they can find a way to refrigerate if you're not leaving until the next day) you get a $50 dining credit for Perennial Virant. You can even use it for in-room dining, also run through Perennial Virant. Plus, they'll make a $5 donation to Green City Market in your name.

If you're looking for a great weekend getaway from the norm, this is perfect. Remember, Green City Market takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Wednesdays are less crowded, but there are fewer vendors.

The Hotel Lincoln is located at 1816 N. Clark Street.
