Friday Morning Diversion: Ray Clay Wedding Reception Announcements

Yesterday The Basketball Jones shared video of a couple who enlisted the services of former Bulls PA announcer Ray Clay to record their wedding reception announcements. Peep, peeps.

Pretty cool, huh? It turns out it isn't all that unique. Clay, who now handles announcements for Chicago Sky games (which would be like seeing "Shoeless" Joe Jackson play semi-pro baseball games after he was banned from the majors) is game for doing these. All you need to do is get in touch with him through the Sky's media relations department.

That doesn't mean you should suddenly flood the WNBA team with requests for Clay to record your wedding reception announcements. You may stand a better chance paying an '85 Bear to show up and do it. They're always available for the right price.
