Acadia has become one of our go-to restaurant recommendations. It's beautiful, quiet, close to the loop and you can always find parking. Even better, it's got a bar with a separate menu for those who don't want to spend a fortune. Today, to celebrate "National Lobster Day," Acadia is running a special deal on their acclaimed lobster rolls.

The deal costs $18, and is only available in the bar. For your money, you'll get the lobster roll, homemade salt and vinegar chips and a beer - an Allagash White from Portland, Maine. Chef Ryan McCaskey is very serious about his seafood. Shrimp and lobster are imported from Deer Isle, Maine, and he even brings in the lobster rolls via FedEx from a small market in Maine.

If your Friday is free, consider a trip to Acadia. It's got a great vibe for dates, and you can get out for under $40.

Acadia is located at 1639 S. Wabash Ave.
