Today's Weather: Opening

Good Morning, everyone. Are you ready for a drop in the mercury and humidity levels today? We are and may even fire up the stove in the kitchen to cook something for the first time in days. (Use it or lose it, as the saying goes.) Today's forecast calls for a mix of clouds and sun throughout the day with a high in the low-to-mid 80s. Skilling Central has parts of the greater Chicago area in store for thunderstorms this morning but take a wait and see approach to that. Otherwise the next chance for rain will be late in what is shaping to be a cool weekend.
