Animal handlers at Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo came to work earlier this week to a surprise: a litter of Berkshire piglets.

Well, it wasn't really a surprise. The piglets and their mother, a 200-pound sow named Lady, are temporary residents of the zoo, which works with an area producer to host a couple of expectant sows every summer. Currently Lady and her piglets are being exhibited at the Zoo's "Farm at the Zoo" exhibit through early August. The exhibit gives city kids an opportunity to experience something resembling farm life and general curator Dave Bernier said piglets are "an especially cute way to do that."

He's absolutely correct.
