Baconfest Needs Your Help To Go National

Baconfest Chicago has gotten about as big as it can get. This year they had 150 restaurants, 1,500 ticket holders and used up a full ton of Neuske's bacon. Even if they were to move to a larger venue, how much bigger can this one convention become? Well, they've decided to try to spread the bacon gospel to other cities in our great nation, and they need your help.
Baconfest is already planning events for 2012 in San Francisco and Washington D.C., but they need more capital to keep expanding. The fest is a local small business, and they throw such a great event every year that we'd love to do anything we can (in addition to buying a ticket) to support their efforts. Luckily, Chase Bank has launched a program called Mission: Small Business, and Baconfest is applying for a $250,000 grant. If they get enough votes by June 30, they will qualify to apply for the grant. It's easy to vote: sign in with Facebook and search for Baconfest. It will pop up, you will click vote, and we can help Baconfest bring the glory that is pork to the entire nation. Couldn't be easier.
