More acts have been announced for this year's Hideout Block Party and A.V. Fest Sept. 14 and 15, and things just got less "meh" and more "hmmm."

Local krautrockers and Chicagoist faves CAVE join the bill. So does Adam Granduciel and his band, The War on Drugs. Hideout and A.V. Club favorites Wye Oak, the Baltimore folk duo of Jenn Wasser and Andy Stack, will bring their haunting melodies to the fest. (We embedded a taste of what to expect from them below.)

Natalie and Elliot Bergman, the duo behind Wild Belle bring their "pop riddim roll" and comparisons to Santigold to the festival.

Wrapping up the other acts announced are The Lawrence Peters Outfit and The Plastic Crimewave Vision Celestial Guitarkestra. Early bird two-day passes are already sold out. Regular two-day passes ($50) are on sale by clicking here.
