Threadless + Food = Fashionable Hilarity

By Anthony Todd in Food on Jun 27, 2012 2:30PM

Whenever Threadless has one of their $10 T-shirt sales, our wardrobe gets even more stuffed with witty and/or artistic shirts. At this point, they so dominate our casual wear collection that we should buy stock in the company. It's going to get worse—someone pointed out to us yesterday how many wonderful food-themed T-Shirts that Threadless has on sale right now. It's an entire new world of tasty, tasty fashion.

If you're not already a fan of Threadless, they are a local Chicago design company that produces shirts (and hoodies and posters and iPhone cases and tank tops) designed by individual artists. Anyone can submit a design and, if it's accepted, is paid $2,000. Most of their sales are online, but they also have two retail stores in Chicago.

Threadless also has done a bunch of collaborations, including work with Thermos, Disney, The Muppets—they've even just released a beer with Finch's Beer Company. Page through the gallery and try not to giggle and be charmed.

Most of their T-shirt collection is on sale for $9 until June 29.
