Flatmade Reproduces Container Corporation Of America Posters Not Seen In Nearly 50 Years

Gapers Block had a nice little post yesterday regarding a series of posters designed by John Massey and John Rieben for the Container Corporation of America as part of its 1965 Chicago Cultural Communications Project.

These posters were never produced until now. Flatmade, in cooperation with Massey and Rieben, have started reproducing the artwork. This sent Chicago magazine's Whet Moser down a wormhole to discover the history of CCA's contributions to modern design that's worth a bookmark and read.
