Gordon Beckham Learns Jake Peavy's Cliches

White Sox second baseman Gordon Beckham isn't at the point in his major league career where he can let fungus grow on his shower shoes but in this video produced by the White Sox as part of the team's campaign to get Jake Peavy added to the All-Star Game Beckham shows, like Crash Davis tried to impart to Nuke LaLoosh, he knows his cliches.

Peavy's cliches, that is. Watch now as Beckham does a near pitch-perfect impersonation of Peavy (while rocking a serious farmer tan) talking about what an honor it is to be here, with this group of guys, battling.
