During an interview with a news outlet in Nevada, President Barack Obama said the Nationals are now his second favorite team. As our friends at DCist point out, either Obama is genuinely warming to the team in his new hometown, or he's pandering to the Nevada vote by jumping on the bandwagon of Nevada-native Bryce Harper.

One thing is clear, though: Obama still totally hates the Cubs. The interviewer told Obama that he's from Rogers Park and an avid Cubs fan, and he asked Obama if he'd accept his Cubs pennant to display at the White House. Obama totally burned him saying, "This will never go up in the White House."

"We were talking about one of the biggest stars right now in Washington, is Bryce Harper, who comes out of Nevada, and I know folks are really proud of him," Obama said. "He's doing great, and it's my second favorite team now, after the Chicago White Sox."

Sure the Nationals are leading the National League, but the Sox are still on top of their division. Here's hoping our First Fan isn't a flip-flopping fair-weather fan. After all, he's sure to say the Nationals are only his second favorite team after the White Sox. Watch the video below and let us know if you think he'll betray us.
