Last year, Three Floyds served these amazing roasted veggies. We can't wait to see what they come up with next!
The best Chicago food event of the year is tonight - do you have tickets? If not, buy them right now or you'll be sorry when we bring back photos tomorrow of all the wonderful things we stuffed into our faces. The Green City Market Chefs BBQ starts tonight at 5:30. The weather is going to be wonderful (unlike last year, which was like eating in a blast furnace) there is going to be tons of food, speciality cocktails and, best of all, several unique beers.

Some people may not realize that the Green City Market BBQ is a mecca for craft beer lovers. Last year, Goose Island was serving all of their chef collaboration brews at the BBQ - the only place on earth that you could find them all in one place. No word yet on whether that magic will return, but we do know a few things. First off, Cafe des Architectes will be serving up their collaboration brew, Fiona, alongside some delicious lamb burgers. Balena will be showcasing their collaboration beer, Amaro Amo "bitter love," created by Chefs Amanda Rockman and Chris Pandel. Cleetus Friedman of City Provisions will be debuting his latest collaboration beer with Flossmoor Station, a strawberry rhubarb saison made with fruit from Nichols Farm and Mick Klug Farms.

A few tickets will be on sale at the door. Tickets are $125/person. It sounds like a lot, but since there will be more Michelin-starred chefs serving food there tonight than you can count, you will definitely get your money's worth. If you need more convincing, take a look at some photos from last year.
