2012_7_13_TwoSparrows.png If you don't have any delicious plans tonight, we've got some for you. 2Sparrows will host the latest installment in its monthly dinner series at 7 p.m., featuring fresh foods from Nichols Farm and Catalpa Grove.

For just $45, you get a five-course meal full of dishes like spinach and blue cheese raviolo, braised lamb, and spiced carrot pudding cake. The whole menu is below. We just wish they had a special version of their popular homemade Pop Tarts using these awesome local ingredients. Will everything taste farmers-market fresh? Likely, since Nichols farm is only 58 miles away, and Catalpa Grove is in nearby Dwight.

Reservations are required, call 773-234-2320. Dinner starts at 7p.m., space is limited to 60 guests, and according to their Twitter, there are only a few seats left, so snag 'em quick.

Menu:
Formanova beets with shaved fennel, fresh goat cheese, heirloom popcorn and a tarragon vinaigrette

Seared scallops with pickled radicchio, smashed cauliflower and a red wine gastrique

Spinach and blue cheese raviolo with port wine and gooseberry sauce

Braised lamb and beet green roulade, fava beans, butterball potatoes and a balsamic blueberry reduction

Spiced carrot pudding cake with black currants, candied carrot curls and crème fraiche gelato

2Sparrows is located at 553 W. Diversey.
