The Chicago area is set for its fifth 100-degree day of the year today, if Skilling Central's forecast is correct. If not, it's still damn hot and humid. We're under a head advisory from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and there's a chance for showers today if you live in the far north and northwest suburbs. After 10 p.m. a cold front will settle into the area, dropping temps and bringing a better chance for rain overnight and into Wednesday.

Rest in Peace Jon Lord.
