Azucar! has a wide selection of cheeses. This is a 12 month aged Manchego, a sheep\'s cheese. It is salty and nutty.
The Sangria comes in two colors: red and white.
This is Piquillos Al Fuego. Piquillo peppers are stuffed with cheese, Portabella mushrooms, lemon chickpea puree, fennel, parsley, and served with garlic cream.
Cocas (crispy Spanish-style flat bread) is similar to a thin pizza. This coca has Manchego cheese, pears, Serrano ham, walnuts, and Balsamic. It is heavenly.
This chicken breast is marinated in sour orange, shallots and olive oil. Under it is arugula, Portabella mushrooms, and a sherry mustard sauce.
The hangar steak is a large portion! It comes with creamed potatoes with truffle oil. We asked for it medium rare, and it was very red inside.
No Spanish meal is complete without olives.

If you walk too fast between Logan Square’s popular hangouts Longman and Eagle and Telegraph, you might miss Azucar! Tapas Restaurant and Cocktail Bar. However, Azucar! has been around for longer than either of them and has a pretty faithful following of tapas fans.

Azucar! Tapas Restaurant and Cocktail Bar is located at 2647 N. Kedzie Avenue, right across the street from the Logan Square Blue Line stop. Gluten-free menus are available upon request. Azucar! is open for dinner only, and stays open until 2 a.m. on the weekends.
