Grimes, Twin Shadow Lollapalooza After Parties Announced

Summer isn't even half over and there are several more major music festivals coming our way. With Pitchfork Music Festival behind us, we have Lollapalooza to look forward to in two weeks, North Coast Festival Labor Day weekend, and the A.V. Fest/Hideout Block Party in September. And if you're a true Chicagoan, you know that it's never too early to start partying. FILTER Magazine and S.O.Terik have teamed up to bring two Lollapalooza after parties during the weekend of Lollapalooza. Pitchfork Media darlings Twin Shadow and Neon Indian will headline the after party on Thursday, Aug. 2, and will also feature a DJ set by Passion Pit. For those who are looking for a more eccentric after party will be happy to hear that electro-dreampop favorite Grimes will headline the second after party on Friday, Aug. 3 with The Big Pink and THENEWN02. In addition to the headliners, both after parties will feature DJ sets by local DJs Kid Color and Gemini Club, and others to be announced. Both after parties are free with RSVP.

After parties will be held at Logan Square Auditorium, 2539 N. Kedzie Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois 60647, on Aug. 2 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Aug. 3 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Both after parties are 21+. You can RSVP to attend the after parties here.
