The White Sox's offense came through for Chris Sale Friday night in Texas winning their fourth straight game. Sale (12-3) had a rough start giving up four runs in the first inning, including a three-run homer to right fielder Nelson Cruz. Kevin Youkilis answered with a two-run shot of his own in the second to make it 4-3. Alejandro De Aza continued the scoring effort in the fourth with a two-run RBI single to put the Sox up 5-4. De Aza left the game with a wrist injury in the seventh after colliding with Alexei Ramirez on a shallow fly ball in center. Manager Robin Ventura later said De Aza "probably" slightly sprained his left wrist, but Ramirez stayed in the game and hit a two-run shot in the ninth following an Alex Rios RBI double that drove in Adam Dunn to give the White Sox the final 9-5 advantage over the Rangers. The White Sox once again lead the division and are 1 1/2 games ahead of the Detroit Tigers.
