Video: Flash Mob Robs Store During Wicker Park Fest

Thieves took off with about $2,000 worth of merchandise in a flash mob-style robbery during Wicker Park Fest yesterday. According to Gapers Block, more than a dozen people walked into Mildblend Supply Co., 1342 N. Milwaukee, on Saturday night and grabbed armfuls of jeans. Gapers Block writes:

Owner Luke Cho said the theft could have been "a lot worse," but employees locked the store's doors as people began streaming in. Eventually participants in the robbery forced the doors open and fled the scene.
