If you haven't seen Rashid Johnson: Message to Our Folks at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, today is your last chance. The show is the first major solo museum show for the Chicago-born, New York-based artist, and on view are paintings, photographs, sculpture, and video from the first 14 years of the his career. Johnson's work uses everyday materials to explore black American identity and art history, and it's easy to lose time among the thought-provoking works. The MCA is open until 5 p.m. tonight.
