The Dodgers took the second game of their three game series with the Cubs on Saturday. Chris Volstad started for the Chicago and remains winless since July 10, 2011. Volstad gave up two runs and six hits in seven innings including an off-the-glove home run by Matt Kemp. Alfonso Soriano drove in Darwin Barney on a double to deep center, giving the Cubs their only run of the game.

Angels 6, White Sox 5 (10 innings)

The White Sox went to extra innings again with the Angels, but didn't come out on top like they did Friday. Kevin Youkilis started the scoring effort for the Sox with a solo home run in the first inning to put them on the board. A.J. Pierzynski homered for his fourth straight game in the sixth to help the Sox close a three-run deficit. Youkilis then logged his first multi-homer game since 2009, tying the game in the seventh with a two-run shot, which drove in Alejandro De Aza. The Sox, however, got bested in the 10th off of a Howard Kendrick RBI single.
