The realty company that owns the condominium former Mayor Richard M. Daley moved into shortly after he left office has listed the unit on the market. The asking price: a cool $2.725 million.

The Tribune reports JMB Realty listed the 3,479-square-foot unit in the 900 N. Michigan Building on the market July 17 in a section of the building that was converted into residential units. The condo has floor-to-ceiling windows; four-inch white oak floors 10-foot high ceilings; a fireplace; 3-1/2 baths and northwest views. Daley has an investment firm with offices in the same building and lived in the condo until last June.

Daley still owns a home in the Central Station area of the South Loop, but hasn’t lived there for a while. His spokesman, Jacquelyn Heard, wouldn’t comment on the condo listing or his current living situation to the Tribune.

JMB Realty was a longtime contributor to Daley’s campaign funds during his tenure as mayor.
