Michael Jordan will join basketball greats and Pres. Barack Obama in a special game to benefit the president's reelection campaign. The Obama campaign has announced the "Obama Classic" game, and they're giving away tickets to donors. The lineup also includes Patrick Ewing, Sheryl Swoopes, Kyrie Irving, Alonzo Mourning and Carmelo Anthony.

ABC writes:

“Hit the court with Patrick Ewing and Melo? Trade stories with the President? This is the kind of stuff your kids will tell their kids, and no one will believe it until you show them a photo,” wrote Marlon Marshall, the Obama campaign’s national field director.

As NBC Chicago points out, Jordan famously said, "“Republicans buy shoes, too," when asked to support a candidate in 1990. Perhaps he's sold enough shoes by now.

The announcement says more players will be announced. Will any other Bulls make the cut? Please bring the Pippen.
