Northalsted Market Days is Saturday and Sunday from11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on North Halsted street, between Belmont and Addison
Earlier this year there were rumors that Pres. Barack Obama would be the grand marshal, but the president unfortunately had to back out. Nonetheless, this is the nation's oldest and largest African American parade. The Bronzeville parade and picnic starts at 39th Street and S. Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and continues for about two miles to the Victory Monument.
The Bud Billiken Parade and Picnic is Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 39th & South Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive
Retro on Roscoe is the place to go if you love the 80s. Not only will there be 16 Candles and Too White Crew, but there will also be a Journey tribute band and a Metallica tribute band. Bring your slap bracelets. Gearheads will also dig the Antique and Classic Car & Motorcycle show.
Retro on Roscoe is at 2000 - 2300 Roscoe Street on Saturday and Sunday noon to 10 p.m.

Ginza Chicago is at the Midwest Buddhist Temple at 435 W. Menomonee Street in Old Town on Friday 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
